REstore expands leadership team with new VP, Internet of Things, Helen Park
San Francisco, 14 June 2017: REstore, a leading energy technology company focused on demand side management, today announced that Helen Park has joined the company as VP, Internet of Things (IoT). With more than 20 years of experience in business development and sales across the technology, renewable and IoT sectors, Helen joins REstore from Silver Spring Networks where she was Senior Director, Strategic Alliances.
The addition of this role is designed to extend REstore’s position as a leader in demand side management for household appliances and battery storage applications and accelerate its growth in Internet of Things applications.
At Silver Spring Networks, Helen managed its global ecosystem of technology and channel partners, spanning the industrial IoT sectors across utilities and smart cities. Prior to Silver Spring Networks, Helen established and led the North American sales office for Bosch Solar Energy, developing the company’s direct and channel sales programs. She received a B.A. in Economics from Smith College and will be based out of the San Francisco office.
“During the second half of 2016 REstore developed its first IoT partnerships and earlier this year, opened its San Francisco office to continue to grow IoT partnerships in the US. Helen has joined REstore’s team at a stage of strategic, international expansion of its IoT and SaaS business. Helen brings extensive experience and a broad network within the fields of renewable energy and IoT. We are thrilled to have her join the REstore team”, said Jan-Willem Rombouts, REstore’s co-CEO.
“REstore has a very unique cloud-based IoT solution that helps solve the increasing problem of electricity grid imbalances in real time. This technology can be adopted by manufacturers seeking to provide value-added services and price discounts to their customers while also providing a positive environmental impact”, says Helen. “REstore’s innovative IoT application is already well established throughout Europe and I look forward to continuing to build out our IoT partnerships in the US and beyond”.
